From Leeds, Pontefract, Castleford
(M62)
Exit the M62 at Junction 31.
At the motorway roundabouts follow the signs for Normanton Town Centre,
pass “The Village” pub on your left.
At the crossroads where Queen Street
meets the B6133,
there are traffic lights and
a pub called the Black Swan on the corner.
Turn right at this junction onto
the High Street.
From Wakefield,

Travel across Heath Common and enter Normanton
on the A655.
At the crossroads where Queen Street
meets the B6133,
there are traffic lights and
a pub called the Black Swan on the corner.
Turn left at this junction onto
the High Street.
Then
Pass the Police Station on your left. The High Street curves left, and
takes you towards the pedestrian precinct. As you reach it, turn right into
King Edward Street.
At the top of the hill use the pay and display car park on the left.
Leave the car park on foot, turn right
into the pedestrian precinct.
Walk down the precinct until you reach the Halifax Bank on your right, and a
wedding dress shop and post box on your left.
Turn left, leaving the precinct and walking down the side of the wedding
dress shop.
You will see a small crossroads immediately in front of you, and an optician’s on the far right.
At this crossroads turn right onto Assembly Street (which
doesn't have a street name sign).
The Loft is on the right hand side of the road. It can be identified by the silver and blue sign.
